Insight provides training for those looking to deepen their understanding of Transactional Analysis
What Is Transactional Analysis (TA)?
TA is a theory of personality, a practical educational psychology, a method of analyzing systems and organizations, a tool in management and communications training, and a systematic psychotherapy for personal growth and personal change.
TA was developed by Eric Berne, M.D. It is outstanding in the depth of its theory and the wide variety of its applications. TA is practiced worldwide and has national organizations in most countries for training and certification. Over the past four decades, the theory has evolved to include applications to education, counselling, organizational, and psychotherapy.
The strengths of TA in these areas are:
Education: Make learning and teaching more effective. Use TA to empower your students.
Counselling: Develop a greater understanding of personality, human development, relational transactions, and life patterns.
Organizational: Build a common strategy to address the needs of an organization.
Psychotherapy: Deal with psychodynamic change by addressing childhood issues that impact today’s functioning.
A Certified Transactional Analyst designation requires advanced theory training and hands-on therapy experience with supervision.
